Dear Kevin, I am looking for the Commander of SEAL TEAM ONE that I met at Camp Grayling Michigan, in August of 2005 in the N.C.O.Club on base. I for the life of me can not remember his name. I also met the X.O. of SEAL TEAM ONE and a Beautiful Lieutenant Officer, who was a Geologist. She looked like Demi Moore! I was invited to help with the party that was held for
the Large Group of Navy Seals, who were doing some special training with other Navy Seal Teams at Camp Grayling. I believe members of Seal Team Six were also present at that time for training and manuevers. I kept the Kegs of Cold Beer flowing and the Grills glowing for His men and women. To my suprise, The Commander of SEAL TEAM ONE took me aside and gave me the SEAL TEAM ONE Token for my services that day. I was very humbled by His kindness and His deepest appreciation of having me, having the honor, to be with such a fine group of Men and Women and serve them for all of their hard work and accomplisments. I had the honor of watching a Chief Petty Officer Re-Up that day and I kept His papers in a safe place while all of the Seals enjoyed themselves. It was a day that will always be with me for the rest of my life. All of them, were special to me! What a fine group of people. All of those Men and Women are a very very big part of this Countrys freedoms and protecting princples of Democracy. I thank them and You Kevin, for your service to our Country. I too, am a USNR Veteran, 1970 to 1975. I was on the USS WHITE PLAINS AFS 4 in Viet Nam as an Electricans Mate / Fireman, in the Engineering Department. My time I served was in honor of my father who served in the Army during WWII in the Eighth Army, 95th Division, 547th A.A. Batallion. He saw and experienced the horrors of war. The lessons he learned of human character while under battle made him a man of honor and a humble, loving father of Seven Children. He died in 1995, with all of us at His side. As I write this to you Kevin, I want you to know that You are the first person I have ever twitted to and for some strange unknown reason, God showed you to me, on the Navy Seal website tonight. Your name popped up and caught my attention that you are a graduate of the UofM. There is only one! Go Blue! And there is only one Navy! The United States Navy! And, there is only a very small slect group of brave and honorable people, who get to serve ther Country in the U.S. Navy, as a Navy Seal. You are one of those Kevin! I am sure as the ocean is blue and wet, You Kevin, are a fine example of Honor, Courage, Humble Dedication, and a proud warrior of The United States of America and the Navy Seals. You are doing your parents proud! Thankyou Kevin!
